Cal Band Great!

At halftime of the Cal/Washington State game, the Cal Marching Band did a great show... It was all music from video games, but along with it, their formations acted out scenes from the games... Pretty cool...

FARK!

If you're not reading Fark.com on a regular basis, you really should be... He basically takes all the news of the day (important, not important, and just stupid) and labels it for your use and summarizes it in his own unique way... One of my favorite labels is "Florida", which always has stories that could only take place there... Here's a headline from today:

"After lowering standards again, the U.S. military meets recruiting goals, looks forward to sending its first brigade of 17-year-old, asthmatic, walleyed drug dealers into battle"

Great Moments in Commercial History

Let me start by saying the Consumerist is one of my favorite blogs... Gives good updates on consumer problems, of course, but funny customer service stories never get old... And they also have their ongoing series "Great Moments in Commercial History"... Here's an example (from Cleveland):

Top 10 Evil Computers
